You're probably wondering, who's behind all this? We're five 10th graders attending Flagler Palm Coast High School in Florida. We have created this project for Community Problem Solving, a component of Future Problem Solving -- an international program you can read about here: fpspi.org. We young'uns are passionate about working toward positive change, because why not? We'd love for you to join us in our quest!

Team POV would like to welcome you to the site! The mission of this blog is to inform students about how social studies connects to their day-to-day lives in various ways that may not be apparent to the students themselves.
What does POV stand for? The name of our blog correlates to our project’s purpose of forming a Perspective, gathering an Opinion, and seeking Validation from other students who are becoming aware of the same topics such as yourselves.
The main purpose of this site is for students to become engaged with others in the community, and to broaden their view of the world by "branching out" and taking in different ideals. Have fun!
